We are turning the big 2-0 this year, and by way of celebration we are having 20 Days of Giving in which we reward a colleague at HQ, a travel agent partner, a customer and a charity over 5 consecutive months.
It was a pleasure to kick start our ‘20 days of giving’ during this sunny month of June and spread a little love across our colleagues and customers.
Sharon Penszor, our first travel agent partner who was selected to receive the first gift was beaming:
‘’I was very kindly nominated as the first member of the Travel Agent team to receive a gift. In turn I get to pick one of my clients to receive a personalised gift, who then nominates a charity for Holidaysplease to make a donation.
It would have been super easy just to pop names into a hat of my longest standing clients, biggest value bookings, or those who book most. Instead, I decided on a couple who have had to rearrange a 60th birthday adventure to South America a few times and have sort of lost some of the excitement for the upcoming trip.
Picking just one of my amazing clients was very difficult, and I now feel beyond guilty for not choosing others!
I received a very lovely Whitely Neil Gin tasting collection (thank you, Marketing Megan!); my clients have something personalised on it’s way to them, and they have also very kindly agreed to match the donation we made to Alzheimer’s Society on their behalf.
What a wonderful idea to help us celebrate such a big milestone!!”
