After a record breaking first quarter of 2022 at Holidaysplease, we have achieved another milestone calendar month with sales in April smashing the previous April record.
We think it’s safe to say that 2022 is shaping up to be the most exciting and fruitful time in our 20 year history and we hope that this is just the start, upon analysis of the market, we are encouraged by finds indicating that when it comes to the pinch, more people will spend their cash on sand and sunshine than on the latest designer bag:
‘’Consumers are set to prioritise international travel over physical products during the next year, with 63 per cent of travellers reporting that they would rather spend money on a holiday this year than material items.’’ – Collinson
Alongside this, a survey by Amex revealed that people want to “Spend big and go far in 2022.”
This excites us even more as we love to sell long haul, luxury travel.
We have also seen a real increase in repeat bookings which are currently running 43% up year on year in April. This is a real testament to the knowledge and service Holidaysplease homeworkers give to every one of their customers and the exciting news is that we are committing further significant investment and resource to help our team achieve even higher levels of sales from their client bases going forward- watch this space…
